NEED A BLUE CARD TO TAKE YOUR KNOWLEDGE TEST?
Blue Cards are required for all drivers under 18 who want to take the Knowledge Test at the DMV to get their permit.
You can get your Blue Card from a Behind the Wheel Training instructor if you bring your DriveSafeRideSafe Certificate of Completion to the school of your choice.
However, if you are ready to take your knowledge test, but not ready or unable to schedule Behind the Wheel lessons at this time, you can purchase a Blue Card from DriveSafeRideSafe, ONLY IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED ONE OF OUR DRIVER ED COURSES and have our Certificate of Completion. You will need to email us your certificate of completion when you purchase this blue card.
Having the Blue Card allows students who have completed our course to take the Knowledge test, get their permit and practice drive with licensed adults over 21 until they are able to schedule their behind the wheel training.
If you are a full time homeschool student you will need to get a certificate from the MN. DMV by sending in the Affidavit that is offered in our program that you will need to sign up for behind the wheel training.
However, if you are ready to take your knowledge test, but not ready or unable to schedule Behind the Wheel lessons at this time, you can purchase this Blue Card from DriveSafeRideSafe.
Once you have the Blue Card and feel ready to sign up for Behind the Wheel Training, you can also check with DriveSafeRideSafe as Mike Pehl will happily do your behind the wheel training if you are okay with coming to the Alexandria, MN. area. (We will also deduct the $25 that you paid for the Blue Card from your BTW training.)
